Dating Web Limited was formed in October 2001 following the purchase of the domain name www.datingweb.co.uk in September 1999.

Due to the collapse of the Internet, the idea of developing www.datingweb.co.uk was shelved until April 2002. After initial development work and trials it was decided to change the domain name to www.timeforadate.com as we believe this name is more “user friendly”.
